The University of Colorado has a large number of faculty with expertise in microbial biology, biogeochemistry and evolution. More than 20 such faculty representing eight academic departments and three research institutes are currently in the process of forming the Center of Microbial Biogeochemistry and Evolution (COMBE). Our goals are to increase interactions and collaborations between center members, and to strengthen undergraduate and graduate training in microbial biogeochemistry and evolution. For more information, please visit the links below, or contact COMBE's co-directors, Russ Monson and Diana Nemergut.
